From a botanical point of view, guests in Hunters can find a mixture of Cape flora and plants that grow in vast marshlands. Many of the short bushes and shrubs in this floral kingdom have no leaves, which led to them being named Fynbos, fine bush; evergreen sclerophytes mostly grow here, among them several hundred varieties of heather.

Under the African sun, Hunters Country House is located in one of the worlds most beautiful landscapes, on South Africas famous Garden Route between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Hunters is an attractive ensemble of 23 separate cottages and the central main building with various suites.

Relax, ponder and look forward to the night and sweet dreams. Today is today and tomorrow is a new day. Finish the day with an old book from the library perhaps, and tomorrow begin the day with breakfast in bed. Close your eyes. Listen to the sounds of the night. Here, at the southern tip of South Africa, halfway between Europe and Asia. In a world that really exists.
